WFMW - Self-Rising Flour
I found when we moved to Canada, that my southern-buttermilk-biscuit-making was in a bit of trouble. I was used to buying self-rising flour down south, but it was either non-existent or too expensive everywhere I looked up here. So I did some research and found that I could make my own by adding 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to every cup of plain flour. I've been known to convert that to a whole bag of flour, but most of the time I just make it as I need it. It works for me!
